For 28 years, this hostal has been owned and operated by the Chacon family of Ibarra.

The cleanliness, 24-hour hot water, comfortable beds and hospitable staff have kept it a strong leader in Ibarra´s hostal community.

There are 16 rooms in total, all with private baths, comfy beds, Cable TV and a telephone.

Some rooms even have a balcony that over look the city.

Although you won’t find a restaurant in-house, El Ejectivo boasts one of the best free book exchanges around and also has a large high-speed internet cafe that is available to guests and passerbys alike. Backpackers tend to be the clientele.

The combination of amenities, cleanliness and friendliness all make this one of the best places to lay your sleepy head in Ibarra.
