Although housed in a tiny space in Plaza Ibarrenidad, this American/European styled bar occupies two floors, offers a full bar serving up all sorts of cocktails, from Peruvian Pisco Sours to traditional Cuba Libres to a selection of beers. Not the cheapest bar in town--cocktails can cost $2 to $3 a drink--Bar Bud is good watering hole to grab a late afternoon beer. As the night grows old, the place gets hopping as the party typically spills out into the plaza. Popular with college-aged Ecuadorians. Not open often, check out Bar Bud Wednesday- Saturdays from 4 p.m. to midnight. Sundays 10 a.m to 4 p.m.
