This small but friendly café is a great place to enjoy an early morning breakfast or mid-afternoon snack. In the mornings, Ibarran locals filter in to grab a bite to eat before starting the day, and the small café quickly comes to life with conversation. Although there is no official menu (unless you count what they’ve written on the window) set dishes include traditional fare, such as sandwiches, quimbolitos and café con humitas.
For desayuno (breakfast), you can order eggs cooked any style—provided you can speak a little Spanish. The meal is served with a heaping basket of bread still hot from the oven, and a plate of cheese. A variety of fresh juices are also available, of which the mora is highly recommended. Besides the bread and cups of coffee, the warmest part of this café is the familiar greeting of "buenos dias" (good morning) that you hear when you walk through the door.
