The highlands outside Otavalo are home to numerous hotels and hostels, often in converted haciendas. They range in price from a couple of dollars a night up to nearly 300, depending on how many home comforts you want. They offer beautiful views, direct access to walking routes in the countryside and can be great places to escape the bustle of the town.
