Getting to and away from Peguche

Transportation
Peguche is just a few kilometers from Otavalo. One option is to walk from Otavalo. Just head north along the Pan American Highway, in the direction of Ibarra. You will come across signs for Peguche, which is a right turn off the highway. The walk takes around 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a bus north, in the direction of Ibarra, along the Pan American Highway and get off at the turn for Peguche. Alternatively, taxis will take you from Otavalo for around $3-4.
