Lago San Pablo
Lago San Pablo, located a few miles southeast of Otavalo, is another good hiking destination in the Northern Andes. There are several places to stay on the edge of the large lake and a paved road encircles San Pablo. You can hike the circumference in a day and take in the beautiful views or arrange for water activities such as sailing, canoeing and waterskiing.
