Otavalo Top Hotels

As you might expect from such a tourist hot spot, Otavalo has a huge choice of hotels and hostels catering for every type of traveler. The town features a lot of budget and mid-range accommodation: from around $5 US per night for a dorm bed, up to around $30 US for a private room with TV, heating and other amenities.

However, some of the nicest places to stay are a few miles outside town, up in the hills. These tend to be a bit more expensive (you can pay up to $280 US for pure spa luxury), but there are a couple of options to suit backpackers, too. The hostels offer great views, direct access to walking routes in the countryside, and can be great places to chill out for a few days.
