Set back from the street, this lovely hotel has a friendly, homey feel, and is blissfully quiet. Three floors of moderately-sized en-suite rooms are arranged around a leafy courtyard. If you can stretch to it, the top-floor suite is a gem, with gorgeous views from the kitchenette, sitting area and double bedroom. Rooms have WiFi, but no television: if you do feel the urge to watch TV, you can do so in the snug communal living room. While you're here, take advantage of the hotel's restaurant, which is justly famous for its delicious, thin crust pizzas. Breakfast is available for guests, but costs extra.
