Traveler Reviews of Las Palmeras Inn

Staying at Las Palmeras Inn, outside of Otavalo

Rating: 100%

Las Palmeras is a really nice little complex outside of Otavalo. There are beautiful views and gardens everywhere on the grounds. There are charming little cabins, some more upscale rooms, and even shared dormitory style rooms for budget travelers. The staff is really friendly and helps you to plan trips around the area. One thing to note is that it is a few km outside Otavalo, its a long, around 30 minute walk to get to town. Taking a taxi from Otavalo is easy and cheap though and you can call a taxi from Las Palmeras to take you into town.

an unexpected surprise

Rating: 100%

hospitality of managers, Christina and Thomas, was warm and attentive & made me feel at home. My cottage, 4, had a new bathroom, beautifully decorated. I slept like a log. Breakfast was exceptional. So I stayed 2 extra nights then left directly to my Galapagos flight. Ros.

This is a beautiful, tranquil place to stay very close to Otavalo. Food was excellent and was a great value.
