Otavalo has an array of international eateries, fitting for the huge numbers of international tourists it receives. These restaurants offer everything from pizza and Mexican food to seafood and vegetarian dishes; prices also tend to reflect the tourist influx however, and can be a little high. For more budget-priced meals, head to any of the rice-with-everything joints or fast-food restaurants that can be found on every other corner. At night, cheap food stalls light up the Calle Jaramillo side of the Plaza de Ponchos.
