Other than shop, there isn't much to see and do in Chordeleg. Most of the tours take visitors to have lunch at the nearby Uzhupud hosteria.

Buses leave Cuenca regularly for Gualaceo (from the corner of España and Benalcázar), where it is easy to catch a second bus to Chordeleg.

I liked it

I loved absolutely everything about this little town. It has a very rich culture and interesting jewelery styles.

Shop, shop, shop

Chordeleg is packed solid with silver shops. There's really not much else there, though: if you're not shopping for silver, you'll be bored out of your mind. The shops in Cuenca have silver, too, and the prices aren't much different. Bottom line: worth a quick stop but no need to spend much time there.
