Owner‘s Description

El Jordán is a wonderful restaurant in Cuenca (the hidden treasure of Ecuador), between the City's Historic Center and Tomebamba River in the tourist sector. The restaurant is in a restored old house with murals throughout its three different rooms. The first and second rooms are decorated in an old European style, and the third room is decorated in an Arabic style. The restaurant has a view of the modern city and of the river.

Excellent service, crisp white tablecloths and comfortable wooden chairs make El Jordán the perfect place to enjoy Arabic dishes, gourmet international food and good wine. Every Friday night El Jordán has an Arab dance show. Visit the website to see the dishes offered.

En segundos de Cuenca a Medio Oriente

Quizá mucha gente se pregunte, porqué un restaurante de ese estilo en Cuenca?
Es debido a la originalidad, de algo nuevo que no se ha visto en esta ciudad como un sitio diferente y fuera de lo común en Cuenca, siendo una alternativa para conocer un poco de la cultura oriental desde pequeños rincones que nos ofrecen ciertos bares y en este caso el restaurante El Jordán.
