Plaza San Sebastián - Historical Building Cuenca - Ecuador

Plaza de San Sebastián is a quiet retreat from the city streets and features both the Museo of Modern Art and, to the north, Iglesia San Sebastián (on Ca. Bolívar side). The church is best known for its large wooden doorway and for the Cross of San Sebastián, a colonial era tribute to Christianity that also marks the western limit of Cuenca’s historical center.
