A delightful café serving, as the name suggests, all things chocolate and cinnamon. The menu consists of a long list of every kind of hot chocolate imaginable. The cacao used to make the chocolate is grown in Ecuador (this cacao is so good that at one time the Swiss wanted to import it). Also offers beer, mix drinks, sandwiches and salads. During the daytime, it serves as a quiet place to read a book or chat with a friend and at night the café fills up and noise volume rises. Seating is limited as the space is quite small, but you can take advantage of the loft space and the owners always find a way to squeeze you in. On most weekends there is live music. Open for lunch and dinner.

Price Description: Hot chocolates range from $1 to $3.50 and alcoholic drinks are a bit more expensive.

I heard from friends that Cacao y Canela was great and had great food, but when I visited, they had run out of several foods - including Chocolate. Also, our waitress was not very polite. I wish I could have returned another time to see if my bad experience was just a one-time thing.
