This vegetarian restaurant is a peaceful retreat from the noisy streets. Owned by a Taiwanese couple, the restaurant is filled with calming music and has outdoor seating surrounded by bamboo and bonsai. The basic lunch comes with soup, juice and a plate of rice accompanied by some sort of vegetables and soy meat. Also serves soymilk and sells bags of soy meat.

The restaurant is located on Gran Colombia 1-89 and Capulies, across the street from the Universidad del Pacifico. Due to construction nearby, the bus routes are constantly changing, but you can take any bus that goes to the Coliseo and walk three blocks from their towards the “bomba” (gas station) on Gran Colombia.

My favorite restaurant in Cuenca. Clean, TRANQUIL, tasty. Have eaten there several times. Not centrally located but still in town and an affordable cab ride from center ($1.50). Gran Colombia (arriba) & Capulis.
