Located 3km from Podocarpus Nacional Park, Copalinga is a mecca for birders and nature lovers, surrounded by a complex network of trails with bird viewing spots. Six cozy cabins house up to 12 and 4 smaller doubles each have private bath, hot showers, and a balcony. There are also more budget “rustic” cabins with bunks and a shared bath. The owners will make you meals in an onsite restaurant and bar, but make reservations ahead of time if you plan to eat.

Getting There:
From Zamora, you can take a taxi (“yellow cab” or “white pick-up truck”) to COPALINGA. Copalinga is located halfway (3 kms) on the road to the Podocarpus National Park. The place is locally also known as "El Oso." Most taxi drivers know the place,

A hidden paradise near Podocarpus

An excellent place to stay, a paradise for birds and nature lovers. We stayed in a confortable cabin with a big window and woke up every morning to the sound of the birds. If you have any problem the owners, Catherine and Boudewijn are always there to help you.
