The Hotel Londres is located in an old, unassuming building that was obviously cut in half at some point in the past. Tall and narrow, the hostel has 12 rooms with a varying number of beds in each: the rock-bottom price of $5 will get you one. Bathrooms are spread out and shared: none of the rooms has private bath. There is a small community kitchen in back. The old wooden floors are sort of charming, though and there is even a little nook where guests can hang out.

Hard-core backpackers who squeeze every penny like it’s their last will tell you that the best way to judge an extremely low-cost hostel is to take a whiff of the bathroom. If the bathroom is clean, it’s probably a good place to stay. Happily, the bathrooms in Hotel Londres are spotless. There isn’t real hot water, but heating devices on the showers (think a cross between a shower head and a toaster) should provide at least lukewarm water.

The building is ugly, the rooms are a bit dreary... but hey, it costs five bucks and the bathrooms are clean. Recommended for tightfisted backpackers.

don´t bother

Our room was a cell no windows, the walls are wooden so it sounds like you are sharing the same room as next door. Tho it is cheap and the bathrooms are clñean it is defo worth spending a little more for a nicer place
