One of the newest hotels in Loja (completed in early 2007), the Quo Vadis is a modern, reasonably priced hotel well located within walking distance of Jipiro Park. The Quo Vadis features a restaurant, now includes an elevator and is in the  process of adding a pool and a gym. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean, and the hotel is very tastefully decorated. As an added bonus, the Quo Vadis is still one of very few places in Loja to get a decent expresso or cappuccino, which is an important consideration for you java-heads out there. Rates are currently low, as the hotel is still making a name for itself, but may go up at some point in the future: be sure to double-check before booking.

On Sundays, the restaurant at the Quo Vadis has a lunch buffet popular with locals and guests alike.

Modern, clean, free internet on the main floor, great restaurant, super-friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. And contrary to the review, it does have an elevator.
