Traveler Reviews of Café Sambuca

Sambuca Cafe

I loved the friendliness and relaxed ambiance - the food tastes home-made, which is wonderful to find in such a small remote town - and the variety is great. Keep it up!

Sambuca Cafe

I loved the food and the desserts but most of all the darling couple who owns the place.  They were so knowledgeable about the town and all the history and just so cute. I also had a few too many margaritas because Isamar, Raul's wife, is the queen of margarita makers.  I also enjoyed the other patrons there:  all the most interesting people were sitting around and having a great time. For sure this is the "place to be" in Vilcabamba!
