La Terraza is a lovely small restaurant with outdoor seating facing the central plaza. It has striking views of the mountains in the distance. The service is friendly and the menu covers most of the staple meals in Ecuador as well as international fare, such as falafel, sandwiches, Oriental, Mexican and Italian food.
