The company, run by a Dutch transplant, has offered mountain biking tours to travelers since 1991. Trips range from 1 to 8 days, and all depart from Quito. The company uses four-wheel drives to ascend the mountains, then customers hop on their bikes and enjoy the breathtaking views on the way down. Sites include Cotopaxi, Otavalo, Papallacta, Baños and Puyo. The price of most tours includes accommodations, 3 meals a day, and use of a 21-speed mountain bicycle. If you’re a biker, make reservations early, as trips depart every few days and fill up quickly.
