Museo De Acuarela y Dibujo Muñoz Mariño - Museum Quito - Ecuador

In a colonial-era house in San Marcos neighborhood is the Museo de Acuarela y Dibujo. This once-studio of famed artist Oswaldo Muñoz Mariño now displays his watercolors and drawings of Quito. Wandering through the quiet rooms of this museum, you can stroll through the Historical Center's neighborhoods, plazas and streets that Muñoz Marino faithfully captures. His attention to architectural detail is impressive. The gallery also occasionally showcases the works of other painters, including of the workshops the artist conducts.
