Traveler Reviews of Hostel Revolution Quito

nice place to stay

booked one night and have been here for 6. Great owners and excellent facilities, not too big so you dont feel like part of the cattle in some big hostels. Best part is the location close to all the historical sights and public transport nearby.

Great find

I am staying at this Hostel at the moment and it has been the best hostel I have stayed at so far. It is not a rowdy party hostel but nice and cozy and the owners and others staying there are friendly. According to the owner this hostel is not listed in any other guidebooks although it was voted best hostel in Ecuador on Hostelworld for 2008. You are given good maps, information about the surrounding historical center and helpful advice. The internet is free and wifi available, I would not hesitate to recommend this hostel to other backpackers.

best hostel in Quito

this is the best backpackers hostel in Quito by far. Secret garden is nice but overpriced so I decided to stay here. Not a big hostel and everyone is friendly, owner run and operated.

Very welcoming.

The best thing about this place is the staff as well as the cleanliness. The bar can be quite fun when you get a good croud. Matt the owner is very helpful and open to questions. Ideal for backpackers looking to make some good friends. Nice roof top terrace. A communal kitchen for those loking to save. The location is very central, walking to old and new town is only a pleasant walk away. Very hard to leave.

Great hostel

If you stay just one night or a whole month you will enjoy your stay in the Hostel Revolution. The beds are very comftable, the atmosphere is great and if you like you can use the television room, the sunny terrace or meet other people in the bar during playing dart.

cool place

Good staff who were former backpackers, very helpful, good bar. On the edge of the historical center also close to the new town. All buses close by. Very clean, good showers and bed. Recommend.

fun hostel

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, bar, great views in an old colonial house. Close to tourist sites. I enjoyed the get togethers at the bar with the staff and other guests. I stayed longer than I originally intended.
