Spanish schools in Centro Historíco are not as abundant as in La Mariscal, but there are still plenty to go around. Rather than wandering the streets looking for a school, try checking with your hostel or at the South American Explorers clubhouse for advice on the right locale. Taking your courses in the old town is a nice change of pace, as you will be submersed in rich quiteño culture, far from Gringolandia and its English-speaking ease.
