Ocho y Medio - Indie Movie Theater

Quito’s only independent movie theater and a real gem. Located east of the Swisshotel in the La Floresta neighborhood, the artsy film spot has four comfy rooms to view flicks and is teamed up with the trendy and delicious Este Café in front. Indie films from around the globe in a host of languages (with Spanish subtitles), and the occasional live theater, music or dance show.

my kind of scene

great indie flicks from all over the world, and a chill café to mix and mingle with an artsy-intellectual crowd. go check it out, but don't tell your friends because i love this spot and don't want the place to get crowded!
