Aleida's Hostal has recently opened in the laid-back neighborhood of La Floresta. It is a restored private residence with great views of Quito and a pretty garden where you can drink complimentary coffee. The staff speaks English and can help to arrange trips and/or tours to several locations in Quito and the surrounding areas. Rooms range from $10 for a shared bathroom, $15 for a private bathroom and $20 for a suite. Discounts of 10% are given for groups of over 10 people and stays longer than 1 week.
