Somehow, Casa de Eliza has managed to keep the room rates to a bargain $5/person while purchasing over 1,600 hectares of land where volunteers conduct research projects, help with environmental education, permaculture and eco-tourism.

The hostel also provides day trips to tourist hot-spots outside of Quito along with city tours and private transportation. There is also a generous luggage storage policy; even while you are traveling around and outside of Ecuador, Casa de Eliza will hang onto your personal items at no extra charge.
