Plaza Foch

What used to be a quiet plaza with a few restaurants and one or two bars, the intersection of Mariscal Foch and Reina Victoria is silent no more! Over the past four years Plaza Foch has become the place to hang out and be seen, by Ecuadorians and travelers alike. Smack in the center of Gringolandia, this square is host to around 10 bars, cafés, and restaurants.Plaza Foch boasts the hottest spot for la fin de semana, as Quito's weekend nightflight often starts and ends here.

In addition to a lively night (and late night...) hangout, the locale sometimes has weekend artisan markets, outdoor music performances, and is a popular place for an afternoon café con leche.
