Traveler Reviews of Antinea Apart-Hotel

Lovely hotel

We had a comfortable and uniquely decorated room, with a private garden. The staff were very helpful.I liked the central location of La Mariscal: near the colonial center (15 minutes by tram) and a few streets aways from the funky restaurants and bars. But as Antinea is gated, you have the convenience of everything without the noise. The owners Cathy and Fernando are adorable. To sum up: great place to stay!

So great to find suites opening on it's own private garden or terrace . Ask for the junior suites, every one different from the others but so charming! Very copious breakfast and great atention from Catherine the owner and her staff .

Thank you so much!

Thanks for a lovely stay in a really comfortable and unique place. After staying in some jungle dormitories for most nights, it has been a nice relaxing change. Your Junior Suites are so charming with their own garden or terrace.

Excellent ! Great !

This is a unique place in Quito. The district seems almost European! It's very charming with the lovely flowery terraces and patios. Each room is different but charming in its own right. I really recommend you stay at Hotel Antinea to taste the special athmosphere it has, and the kindness of all the personnel.

Loved it!

Walking distance to the two major Quito parks and all the tourist spots in La Mariscal. Short taxi ride to all of Quito. The staff was most accomodating. Nothing was a problem for the staff. Our room, with a fireplace (chimney) was perfect for the two of us and the garden outside our French door was perfect. Rates are very reasonable.A perfect place to stay while in Quito for a vacation.

An enchanting Haven !

I apreciated not only the location right between the historical and new parts of Quito which is suitable for business or tourism, but also how ideal it is just for relaxing in a coquettishly decorated spot right in the midst of a bustling town ! The rooms are cosy and I found the patios lovely with the exotic plants and ferns, the chirping of the birds while one is enjoying breakfast or reading there. I recommend this hotel for anybody travelling alone or in a group for the owners and staff are always helpful and pending on making their guests feel quite at home in this enchanting haven !

Very cosy and so differend !

From all the hotels we visited during our long stay in Ecuator, Hotel Antinea is definitively the best one, located in a wonderfull street, just like our European streets. Ask for their Junior Suites, so lovely with the garden. The room # 11 was so sunny and charming - Peter Lauffer
