The Hilton Colón is one of Quito's older international luxury chains and it is beginning to show its age but is nonetheless a beautiful hotel with extensive amenities and great city views. Located in the southern end of La Mariscal right in front of Parque el Ejido, home to a weekend outdoor market with crafts from all over Ecuador, the Hilton Colón is a blockish concrete structure. Services include a small but modern gym and heated outdoor pool. Two restaurants downstairs offer ample buffets and spacious seating areas.
