I like this hostel because is very centric, Fuencarral street, near Gran Via. But i had problems with the clean, bedroom very old, and disagreeable workers
I can highly recommend this hotel. They have clean, comfortable rooms and good food. It´s in an excellent location and the street is quiet and safe. There is a brand new internet cafe there.
A Great place to stay, we have been trato Ecuador, and tLos Alpes many times. The accomidations are clean and well attended to. We are planning to return this August and will be at Los Alpes again. Hope to see you there.s
The family who own it have done so for over twenty years and care about their customers, several of whom I met from the US who had been there two, three or even more times and knew the owners well. Some guys from the BBC were staying there and it seems that this organisation regularly uses the place. I got into conversation with one American who said that the family had struggled when the roads around were closed off for a long time to 'protect' the US embassy close by.
The food was good. The family who won the place are Italian-Ecuadorian and the food was all freshly made pasta etc. They have also a wireless internet service available for customers.
