JW Marriott Hotel Quito

The newest of Quito's luxury international hotels, the JW Marriott Quito is a gigantic, modern pyramid in the northern end of La Mariscal.  With spacious, sunny, elegantly decorated rooms with excellent city and mountain views, two excellent restaurants, a tropical pool area that will make you forget you are in the middle of a polluted city and spacious, relaxing common areas including an indoor waterfall, the Marriott is well-worth the price for travelers desiring a luxurious stay.

Each of the over 250 rooms has safes, cable TV, data ports, minibars and some have in-room hot tubs.

Traveler Reviews of JW Marriott Hotel Quito

Perfect Inernational Luxury Hotel - If That's What You Want

We chose to stay here when passing thru Quito to and from the Galapagos for its convenience to the airport, and also because we thought we might appreciate a bland North American hotel experience after a week and in the Andes and the Oriente. For us, it was a good choice. This is a luxury hotel, by any industrialized world standard. Generic, comfortable, full-service, anonymous, expensive. The only exception, perhaps, was the restaurant where we had two pretty creative meals, and among the best during our travels in Ecuador – and also surprisingly cheap ($10 for beef tenderloin).Don’t come here for local color, romance, character, etc. Come here if you think you might need a break from those things, or for the convenience and predictability. We were not disappointed.

Poor service

I stayed here hoping to have the most wonderful stay I could ever imagine. The building is nice and the rooms are elegant, but service is poor! It isn´t worth the charges.
