Traveler Reviews of Vieja Cuba

review

I loved that the hotel was rustic and different than cookie cutter hotels. The staff were always friendly and willing to help. My sister got Quitos revenge and the staff sent her oregano tea and asked if they could do anything (very comforting). The rooms were very clean and the maid always left bottled water for us everyday. Breakfast was very good -- eggs, toast, jam, cafe con leche, and fresh juice. The hotel was very safe and a short tax ride from the Plaza de Armas and the bus depot.

Cuba Vieja

Loved every bit of it!

Very nice, excellent service but not too comfortable

This place was beautiful, the food was good and the owners super friendly. However, the rooms were a little loud. We could even hear the staff sweeping in the hallways, as well as all the doors opening and closing and everyone walking by. We had to check out, apologize profusely and move to the Marriott, sound proof, super comfy haven. If you're sensitive to noise, then this place is not for you.
