The friendly staff at this small cafe may not be the most experienced in the restaurant industry, but they aim to please and definitely have so much to offer. They are happy to explain about their culture and offer great tourism advice for visitors to the Napo region.
The dark chocolate bars that Kallari sells are the best I have ever tried, and I definitely recommend them for any serious chocoholic.
I highly recommend visiting the Kallari cafe. The food is inexpensive ($2 sandwich) and the teas and juices are excellent. The staff are warm and welcoming. Also, make sure to check out the Kallari crafts. Kallari sells beautiful handmade jewelry, baskets, and high quality chocolate.
Kallari is an excellent cafe in a perfect location in the Mariscal. Not only is its food outstanding and well-priced, but its mission in general is commendable. Occasional live music and cultural events are an added bonus.
