Mama Clorinda

Mama Clorinda is a decent restaurant with standard Ecuadorian food. The large restaurant has two levels, and is a good place for large groups to gather. Mama Clorinda is also a safe place to try out some typical dishes you may hesitate to taste in other places such as cuy, or roasted guinea pig. Vegetarians have two options: the llapingacho platter with cheesy potato pancakes, salad and veggies or Locro de Queso, a creamy cheesy soup.

Mama Clorinda

Good restaurant, excellent service, live music.

I was so annoyed I didn't stay to eat

I went in here on Good Friday. I was carrying my husband's three year old who was sleeping. They said there was no table downstairs for a group of our size and sent us upstairs, where tables are small and there clearly wasn't going to be a table there either. So we all troop upstairs and downstairs. We tried to crowd around a small table, but I was really annoyed that they'd let me carry the child upstairs when there were obviously no tables of the right size there, so we left. The guide was very nice and helpful though.
