Mi Viejo Arrabal

Looking for a good steak? Then Mi Viejo Arrabal is worth a try. In this Argentinean Steakhouse you can watch your steak being prepared (at least the grilling process). Apart from meat they offer fish, pasta, soups and veggie food. Bear in mind, it may not the best place for your budget, as it is a little bit more expensive than other area options. Open 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. daily. The interior is designed to look like a rustic farmhouse, which makes eating a steak more authentic. The kitchen and the bathrooms are very clean. Centrally located on Juan Leon Mera and Foch, it can easily be reached by bus, taxi or on foot. The restaurant has space for up to 50 persons.

Traveler Reviews of Mi Viejo Arrabal

Poor quality food.....

Although not an expensive choice of restaurant the food was not good quality. We wanted a romantic dinner for two. Headlights from the traffic outside were blinding through the windows and the tables near the door were drafty.

Both meals were missing key ingredients (no filling in the ravioli and no mushrooms in the chicken and mushroom lasagne). It took about 40 minutes before being served with the restaurant only a third full.

Cheapest red wine was $19 a bottle. Strangely, one glass (175ml) was only $2.75 making it $8 cheaper to buy by the glass.

The waiter was unsmiling and serious. Unfortunately this makes it hard to recommend for value, quality or atmosphere.
