Uncle Ho's brings Vietnamese food to Quito in a fun, casual atmosphere. The owner is part-Vietnamese and unlike most of the Asian food in Quito, the food is very authentic. The restaurant combines delicately flavored, mouth-watering food with friendly, though slow, service. For a real taste of Vietnam, slurp on the pho, which is a Hanoi-style beef noodle soup. Other options include summer rolls, coconut curry chicken, lemongrass beef kebabs over a rice or noodle plate, and sea bass in lime and chili sauce. Finish up with a round of stuffed fried bananas, flambéed at your table. Que rico!
