Owner‘s Description

It is a small resort surrounded by nature and inside a Geobotanical Reserve. It is a quiet and mystic place near Quito, at only 10 minutes away from “La Mitad del Mundo.” Come here to relax and explore many trails for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking.

There are two cabanas, each for up to four people and a private bathroom. There is also a guest house with two rooms for those who like sharing their lives with others. Outside there is a beautiful and very hot Jacuzzi with eight powerful, massaging jets.

The meals are very healthy, since most of the ingredients are produced in the organic farm. Tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, alfalfa, beets, cabbage, corn, beans and potatoes are only some of the vegetables produced in the garden. Chickens, pigs, guinea-pigs and rabbits are also raised on the farm. Vegetarian meals are available.

Other services available: transportation, guided tours, laundry and babysitting. The owners will make every effort to give you a pleasant stay!!

Getting There:
From Mitad del Mundo, walk 15 min. to the edge “El Mirador”, then 25 minutes down a steep dirt road! At the bottom there’s a junction, take the left road for 200 meters., the hostal’s on the right.
