Safety Alert:
Recently, there was an attack on Ruca Pinchincha that involved two foreigners.
One of the foreigners was raped and the other was assaulted. This hike is very dangerous and this is just one of the many incidents that has occured on the mountain. Please exercise caution if taking this hike.
