The Pululahua reserve is a very tranquil place, inhabited only by a handful of corn farmers and a few hacienda owners. The main thing to do here is to relax, soaking in the silence, and to hike along the few paths that lead up the crater. You can also bring a mountain bike and follow the dirt roads, which are pretty safe, consider how few cars come out here. There also are a couple of hotel and restaurants that can organize horseback rides for you.
