Vivarium - Other Activity Quito - Ecuador

The Vivarium, which opened in 1989, is considered one of the premiere reptile houses in Latin America. There are 87 reptiles and amphibians, but it primarily houses snakes of all kinds. Other than the king cobra, every animal in the Vivarium is native to Ecuador. It houses boas, iguanas, tortoises and even the fear Equis, which is one of the deadliest snakes in Ecuador. Tuesday-Sunday 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
