Traveler Reviews of Hostal Raices

Cannot Go Pass It!

This was my second visit to Hostel Raices and Juan Carlos, the owner, has the great ability to make you feel very much as if it where staying in your own home. You are made to feel welcome and at ease. The location is walking distance to Plaza Forch,  most of the shops, public transport into the old city or a very inexpensive cab ride to most places, which makes it and ideal location when visiting Quito. Juan Carlos can organize a tour for you and or recommend places to see. Great value, clean and a super location. I will be back.

Hotel Raices

This hostel is wonderful, clean, cheap, friendly and has a good location. The owner speaks English and is a fantastic tour guide. We would stay there again.
