Rural Community Development Program International is a non-profit organization that was started in Nepal over 10 years ago. It organizes volunteer work in orphanages throughout Quito as well as projects working with street kids. HIV/Aids Awareness volunteer work, assistance with conservation projects and teaching in rural schools are other possible placements. These programs can cost as little as $178 a week and meals are provided three times a day. Programs run from two to 12 weeks.
