Quito has its fair share of expats, but it can be hard to figure out where they all hang out. If you’re wanting to meet others from your own country, a good place to start can be the South American Explorers club, which offers events, trips and travel advice for both travelers and expats. In the northern part of town, Mr. Bagel is another common gringo hangout, and offers up excellent bagels too! Finn McCool’s pub, as the most frequented Irish Bar in town draws a large expat and traveler crowd. Finally, if you’re wanting to shake your hips with other gringos, you can’t beat Bungalow 6, especially on Wednesday evenings when the infamous Ladies Night goes down.
