With branches both in Quito and in suburban Tumbaco, Computron is a good one stop shop for computer needs. The stores are well stocked, and the staff appears to be knowledgeable about the products that are available and generally helpful. Costs of computer products and accessories tend to be higher than in the US or Europe, so it is better to purchase from there, however, if this option is not possible, Computron is a good start in Ecuador. For those with Apple products, a store named Mundo Mac can be found in some of Quito’s Malls, including El Jardin and Quicentro.
