Quito Schools

Quito is a major hub for travelers who want to study Spanish. Most Spanish schools offer homestays, excursions and even other types of classes like cooking classes and salsa lessons. You will usually have a choice between group or private instruction, and many schools recommend or require a minimum hours per week. Rates range from around $5-10 per hour, but rates often reflect quality. If even the lower end of the scale is out of your budget, many schools will hire you as an English teacher and either give you a discount on your Spanish lessons or let you take classes for free. Classes are rarely less than one week and run as long as several months in length.
