Traveler Reviews of Andean Global Studies

great place to learn spanish

Rating: 100%

I had the best time at Andean Global Studies, although I didn’t want to come at first I must admit, but my girlfriend convinced me on taking a study trip to Ecuador as she calls it.

We researched for Spanish schools in Ecuador and we decided to go to AGS because of their web page, it looks very professional, so we booked our lessons from the first email we received back we were surprised to see the great programs this school had and the fast and concrete replies the students coordinator gave us we decided to go there.

Our experience at AGS was great, everyone is really friendly and the teachers are so good and patient that made me enjoy studying a new language, I meet a lot of friends there and we went to a lot of fun places such as Mindo, middle of the world, to some hot springs located in the middle of the forest with an amazing view to the mountains, and the school organizes all of this great little trips!

Hello, my name is Christian I’m from Germany; I want to let you know about one experience I recently had.

I traveled through a lot of places in south America this last May, unfortunately on my way to Ecuador I got a really bad case of food poisoning so I arrived to Quito really sick, I was supposed to study Spanish for 3 weeks, this is why I’m so grateful with Andean Global Studies school in Quito – Ecuador

its  teachers, and staff in General everyone took care of me, they even called a doctor to see me at school and they rescheduled my lessons so I don’t lose class while I was sick, it took me 2 days to recover and I could take the rest of my lessons normally, I will never forget this! I know for sure that anyone who likes to travel may have experienced getting sick during the trip and knows how important is to be taken care off.

When I got to the airport they had someone waiting for me and they took me to my home stay family, I was so worried about my sickness that the last thing I wanted to do was search for a way of going home.

I was so relieved once I saw the sign with my name on it and a friendly face looking for me that I will appreciate this forever!!!

Finally I would like to recommend this school not only for the great Spanish level and professionalism they have but for all the human values they had with me during my stay in Ecuador.

Ecuador is a very interesting country, enviroment is beautiful, food is delicious, people is very kind. Is a great place to study. In my school AGS I had a great time, it was very familiar atmosphere. I did also a volunteer work in an orphanage and the school helped me with the arrangements totally free, they support us  in everything. Definitely I would reccomend this school!!

Great Experience!

Rating: 100%

What I liked the most about this school was the opportunity to travel between schools in Quito, Manta, Montañita and Cuenca with no extra cost, it was all included, and I had the chance to get to know more places and people, I went to the beach and to different mountains, meanwhile I was learning Spanish all together, I even had the opportunity to learn how to surf, it was awesome!

Just like home

Rating: 100%

I really liked the nice environment at school. It was very familiar, it felt like home. My teachers were really sweet with me and always had a great activity to help me improve my Spanish. I even played soccer with other students from different parts of the world and with our teachers, and saw a lot of documentaries and movies at school! I had a lot of fun!
