This Spanish school is smack in the middle of La Mariscal. Ecole Idiomas offers Spanish lessons and home stays with an emphasis on volunteer work in Quito. Volunteer options are generally full-time and can be activities like working at a day care center, nursing home or nature center outside of Quito. There is also volunteer work available in the Galapagos. This is one of the more expensive Spanish schools in the city, with prices at about $8 per hour. Included in this price is a weekly salsa lesson, all class materials, help with travel plans, and 24 hour luggage storage.
