Nauti diving offers certification courses, daily dive trips, and dive tours to the outlying islands of Darwin and Wolf. Although the mechanics of the dive operation are nothing special (gear is older and limited in sizes; the dive boat is small and often a bit cramped; the vegetarian lunch is barely digestible), Nauti diving has the competition beat in one important respect: the friendly and personalized service offered by their staff.
General manager Vicente Berdonces, a long-term resident of Galapagos, offers a unique perspective of Galapagos flora, (marine) fauna, and conservation efforts: just ask him about his pearl cultivation project. The professional, English-speaking guides are multi-talented and extremely dedicated to providing the client with a comfortable, unforgettable diving experience, whether that involves one-on-one check dives, underwater photography, or an intensive search for an elusive sea creature (in my case, the Pacific seahorse). Support staff is competent and welcoming.
