Eclipse

If its space you're looking for, the Eclipse is your ship. This luxury ship boasts itself as the most uncrowded vessel of its size in the Galápagos. The Eclipse has a capacity for 48 passengers, housed in four suites, eight staterooms, 13 doubles and two singles. All rooms are very large and have a private bathroom with hot shower and are fully air-conditioned. Dining Eclipse-style is alfresco, with the dining area located around the 20-foot (six-meter) pool.  Other amenities include a library/video room, an on-board shop and an observation deck. Tours of the islands are broken down into groups of no more than 12, divided between the four naturalists on-board.

The Eclipse runs eight-day cruises, departing on Saturdays from Santa Cruz.

Eclipse cruise Galapagos

This was a naturalists dream! Like a luxurious bootcamp, but we saw an awful lot of species! Everything on eclpse was well organized, safetymeasures were high, food was excellent and the crew very friendly and competent. A very recommendable experience!
